Extinction
Acrylic on canvas, 2015
Sickness plagues the world but without it how could life continue? Illness brings a person's morality to the forefront of existence. Someone once told me a person passes every minute of every day, but what if you could see this as, for every person leaving this vale another is born. If we think of life as limited then it isn't possible to see the rounded picture. Rather than thinking of the downfall of the human existence which is represented through the landscape, a re-contextualisation of life can be realised and that for every sadness there is hope.
